Crashes in 3D Mode

Hey guys, i just bought the pcm16.
The game is full updated, i play with the EP 2016 Database, with the update installed.
When i play with normal graphic settings(around 4 in the options) the game often crashes, when the riders arrive in towns.
If i start the game with lowest settings, some races like the fleche Wallone still crashes right at the start.

Dont know what to do. Anyone with some hints?

my pc specs:
-Intel i7 2GHz
-8GB RAM
-Geforce 840M

so I think I know where the problem is:
some of the races have gates at the start of the race, these things seem to let the game crash, races without them are no problem, only the ones with the gates at the startline let my game crash.

It seems to be a problem with the EP 2016. Without the update there are no problems, is there a possibility to delete the gates?
