Okay... pretty rarified air with that list.
So... if Contador manages to win the Vuelta this year (which wouldn't be a huge suprise)... do you think he'll enter the Giro at some point over the next 5 years or so to try to get all three? |

yup, select club.
Judging from previous history, most have no interest, but I have no idea if Contador would have an interest. it would probably conflict with his Tour preparations.

It looks like Indurain came close... won the Giro and Tour and came in second in one Vuelta. |

yeah, Mauri was dominant in the time trials, winning time on IndurĂ¡in, and holding on in the mountains. he ended up winning after the queen stage was cancelled due to snow.
The spanish wikipedia has a pretty decent "highlights" text of each Vuelta. Nothing comparable to Torelli's Tour de France history (Torelli wrote a pretty big text on each Tour since the very first one until 1999), but still nothing to sneeze at

Contador might not be allowed to ride in the Vuelta this year because ASO is thinking about buying the Vuelta.

If ASO ends up buying Unipublic, Astana won't be there at all. That said, what does that have as relation to this thread? |

Kurt asked what everyone thought of Contador possibly doing the Giro since he's won the Tour and will probably win the Vuelta.

What tour preperations?

If an invitation has been offered and accepted... could ASO just "uninvite" Astana? I figured with them being invited it was a "done deal" so to speak. |

It would probably end up in CAS, but I don't know. |

With ASO, I'm fairly sure un-inviting them won't be a problem
