The race starts to hot up with the final quickly approaching. A start-stop chase means the break still have a handy advantage with 10 KM to go.
Salinas leads the 60 man strong peloton amidst the high winds.
The biggest casualty of the echelons being Martinez (9th in GC). Seen above trying to regain the peloton.
As another slow up sees Martinez re-join the peloton, out-front with 7 KM to go we see Baska attack the rest of the breakaway.
The rest of the break pull well together, knowing that the heat has gone out of the chase from the peloton so a great chance for a stage win is there. But can they catch Baska?
3 KM to go.
As Baska continues to power on from the rest of the break, we see the sprint train of Xero Racing p/b Octagon distance the rest of the peloton!

What a race for Löbauer Stadtwerke - Etixx!
Crowning a superb month for the German team, we end this race how we started it: with a win for Löbauer Stadtwerke - Etixx! Baska was too strong for the rest of the break and wins with '43 back to .....
... Semple and Sendeku, who round out the podium: crossing the line empty after a hard tour.
After being the only sprinter to really sink his teeth into this stage, Clarke is rewarded with a 7th place finish, just about catching the tail-end of the break.
No changes in the GC means De la Cruz wins the Tour of the Middle East in addition to the points jersey. 2nd in GC Garby leaves with the KOM jersey and the white jersey with New Balance taking home the team classification.
