Welcome to the 28th edition of Tour de France. This edition takes it way back to 1934, in where cycling were a lot different than now. Tour de France winners also competed for the Paris-Roubaix victory and there were not the same kind of rider specialisation like today.
Features
- All 60 riders from the ’34 Tour
- All 5 national teams and 20 individual teams
- Calculated stats based on results in the ’34 Tour and other races before 1934 (and some races after just to verify)
- Rider faces for 53 of 60 riders
- Correct age for 57 of 60 riders
- 90 bonus seconds to the stage winner and 45 to second place, like in the '34 Tour
- Old flags like in 1934
What I want to do in v2
- Fix bugs, but I don't think there are any
- Jerseys: I am terrible at making jerseys, this jerseys was my first ever. I had to make simple nation-jerseys and not like they really were. If YOU are good at making jerseys I would love it if you could make these jerseys: https://www.memoir...s.php?s=51
- Stages: I have Ok experience in making stages, the only question here is time, it takes so much time making 24 stages (The '34 Tour had 24 stages)
If there is anything you have in mind for next version or if you have a question about the stats, download, or anything; feel free to comment.
*** ALERT ***
I had to change XML files for the game and pictures, in both downloads under there is a folder with all the backupfiles you need if you want to go back and play another DB.

Now enjoy this old-style cycling race!

While awesome, I think many would like a PCM16-version.
I might be able to help in some small form, probably with GPX'es for the stages, if you dont already have those.

If you could fix the gpx files that would be nice!
Yes, I know... But I don't think I will buy PCM16. Anyways, I guess there is not many extra columns in the XML files? I think I only have edited three or four files. That would take like 30 seconds to fix, it is a very small DB. |

I just looked at the route. I'll need to find some more detailed route descriptions before I could do anything serious.
If the stages are made in the PCM15 stage editor, they should work in both 15 and 16 AFAIK.
As for the DB itself, trying sending a pm to trekbmc. He might be able to help.

It is difficult to find out information about the route, I have already tried. This page (https://bikeraceinfo.com/tdf/tdf1934.html) shows you at least the big climbs from the stage, so you'll at least be able to catch the most important aspects from the stage.
Yes, the PCM15 stage files can be opened in the PCM16 stage editor, at least you could do that in earlier editions. |

Okay, using what Wikipedia tells me about the cities and the climbs, I made six of the Alp-stages pretty quickly. They aren't 100% accurate to distance, but they got the climbs.

All the links have an "export gpx" button, which should give you a download with the stage name.
I wish I could help with actually making stages, but I'm in the process of switching computers, so PCM is not functional, nor do I really have the time for any serious stage work.

Thank you so much! I don't know if I can make all the 24 stages myself, but maybe some of them... Anyways; this was very helpful! |

Hello again my friend. I gave the jerseys a slight go:
This is in PCM16 format, but can be scaled down to PCM15. It's very simple, but so are the jerseys shown on Memoire du Cyclisme.
