3rd sprinter stage in a row and this time at least 2-3 things, you could call a hill. Not tough enough though for any KoM still.
Funnily yesterdays day off by Appollonio immediately sees him behind Serebriakov for the bookies. Funny as Serebriakov neither did anything impressive.
Petit, Bennett, Sutton did well on last stages and might be there again. The others need to show something or become more consistent.

3 riders in the break. Good news for Compal as they are in it again but this time with some support.

The first sprint sees Biondo winning but no real fight actually.

Novatek seems to still believe in Serebriakov and is working for him once again. It`s definitely not the team`s fauly so far. The Russian is just making too less out of their huge work.
Behind them also Ayubowan and Vontobel are seen. Less than 3min with 40km to go. Another sprint is likely.

Next sprint and again Biondo. This time though they fought for it.

Though it still did take the peloton longer than expected. With 2,5km to go still a 28s gap. But it`s jut a matter of time now with the sprinter teams doing an incredible pace.

And despite the high pace, the 3 best leadout trains once more found together. Though Vontobel might not be very pleased to see Forero again close to the area, where Appollonio would like to have more freedom.

The break meanwhile is caught and out of nowhere it`s Vontobel everywhere. Pity for the team that it`s not their sprint train having a gap but instead their normal chasers Cataldo and De Tier, though Kohler realizes this quick and tries to move the train behind them. Gatto though not cooperating doing a 2km leadout on himself instead.

Gatto though doing an excellent job still while the remaining Vontobel riders are behind! Under the Flamme Rouge he is still in the lead and behind him only 4 riders. With Appollonio in the perfect place, this looks quite easy as the remaining 3 aren`t the strongest challengers. It`s somehow Gonzalez Cortes, who was already a surprise in the sprint preperations plus Keough and Speirs.
All others with awful last 2 kilometers failing all their plans.

600m and still Gatto! Now also Gonzalez Cortes and Speirs struggle.
Petit, Sutton, Serebriakov, Bennett all fighting at the 8th - 11th position only at the moment.

So it was an easy win for Appollonio once he passed his team mate. Main work though was made by Gatto already. Leadout of the race so far.

Keough in 2nd with a great result after picking the right wheel.

Sutton again 3rd. Quite strong in such field! Behind him Serebriakov again not the most happy one, while Petit and Bennett continue their consistency, even though not as strong today.

Next up the GC fight as the 4th stage finally offers some mountains. Not the toughest yet, but surely a first check.
