Hi, haven't bought a PCM since 09 and in seeing a few crash issues reported was wary of buying 16 (I was thinking of grabbing an earlier year - just waned my fix of PCM!) but plumped for the new one.

Bought through Steam and downloaded, but when it boots up all I get is a black screen. I have the yellow cursor which I can move around, and I can hear what I assume is the menu music, but all over a black screen.

Any suggestions on what I can do here? Can I play around with the graphic options somewhere outside of the game? I checked system requirements before hand and should be well and truly good enough for the minimum.

Maybe you can try to temporarily disable your internet connection when you have the black screen, I heard that some people were able to fix that kind of problems doing this.

Thanks, I've got to the menu screen now but don't have a mouse cursor! I can navigate with the touch-screen, but that's not going to help me in-game!

try the hardware cursor option.

But it is playable with a touch screen. Most of the controlling during the race is done with the keyboard anyway. And the buttons in the menu should be big enough to hit them with your fingers, at least it work on my tablet.
