I was just wondering what people may give Eddy Merckx as far as rankings. Trying to mix his climbing ability in addition to his stamina and determination for the spring classics (both hilly and cobbled), and his ability to win more stages than anyone is a testament to his ability to sprint. I just thought it would be interesting to see. Sorry if a question like this has already been asked, I looked and couldn't find anything. |

I'd say make it easy and just put everything at 85.

if any realism was in order, it'd be impossible to simulate. he'd have about 80 mountain and 400 or so for both stamina and resistance

Actually, there was a bug in PCM08, causing riders to get skills way above the max of 85. So, after some months of training, some riders had 162 in mountain, etc.

well, in comparison to PCM's 08 db, where the highest climbing stat is 80, I wouldn't give him an 85. Here is what I was thinking so far (in the parenthesis is the db's highest ranking)
fl - ?
mo - 82 (80)
hil - 80 (81)
dh - ? (85)
tt - ? (80)
sta - 82 (81)
res - 83 (80)
rec - 85 (80)
cob - 76 (80)
ftr - 85 (85)
sp - 74 (80 or 81)
acc - 81 - (85)
are those realistic? i have no clue how he accelerated in races, or if he was a solid time trial rider. i don't know if he was a great downhill rider either...
