Yellow bars not full at the start of a race

Hello,
Is it normal that some of my riders have not a full yellow bar at the beginning of a race? Is it because it's the start of the season an they are not all fit yet?

That's exactly why. When your riders are tired or haven't reached a decent form, the yellow bar will not be completely full.

I think only freshness affects yellow bar...

The effect is most drastic in the form build-up before an objective, and after riding many races in quick succession as the amount of bars used up in a race affects the maximum bar lenght possible for the next day(s).
