Euskatel-Euskadi 2008
As promised in 2007 by the directors of the team,in 2008 the team will have a fresh start on the management part .
A young promising manager was assigned to the hard task of making from Euskaltel a competitive team and make the Basque fans proud of their team .
This season calendar makes a godd oportunity to make Euskaltel visible all over Europe we most show our shirt and sponsor in any race, and make our goals .
1 January 2008 the team rounds-up for the team photo in Vitoria-Gateiz,some fans comed for the autograph sesion after the photos,i was happy to see we have the full suport of the fans.
This was the first day of my managerial career here a short brief with the team and photos tommorow comes the official presentation of the team .
P.S Team Euskaltel has won the poll that thread could be locked thx in advance

[b]Time for team presentation the 26 six men camed made the team photo and the personal photo but let's see what cyclist we will have and then personal information for all
The press conference continued the directors of Euskalted showed the team objectives and the long term manangement programm young riders to raise instead of big guns.
The budget is a solid one for this year but without money to spend on signing free riders and none of the big payed guys leaving this year it seems Euskaltel will sign neo-pros next year.
The good news is that the manager got 3 more sponsors and what sponsors
Also the team presented the race schedule for this year here is the january schedule

Ilaneres, Ilaneres, Ilaneres
Good Start get some scouts out to Basque country
Is there any other races you are going to do in Jan like the Armissa Bongo Congo one
Good Start only thing id say is to have a bit more 'Story' in it, if you know what i mean

Some good graphics you got there
Also, the objectives seem quite hard in my opinion. Good luck |

@Crue thx i like to play high when i really have time so you will see good graph when time free poor one when fast report and race
Stage 2->Stirling-Hanhdorf
So for today Verdugo KoM
Ruben Perez for sprint
Today started with a sprint won by Renshaw Gardey 4 th..so Renshaw new virtual leader of the race.
Verdugo escaped with 8 other riders he tooked the KoM
They are caught with 20 km to go ...the peleton start making a train just one...euskaltel did a paralel one or okey a desperate one we were to back to get a good wheel
Renshaw won the stage Ruben Perez 3rd thx to Renshaw wheel

Stage 3 Strathalbyn - Yankalilla
The usual break was a large group of good riders that could relay but they did a crapy job always attacking never relaying so they were captured back with 30 km
Sillence and Euskaltel trains who will win ?
Seems that Euskaltel will win Gardeyn is way back
And yes Zberg won it yes Zberg .....
