Hello i have lost my PCM inclination and looking for at team to play with.... Since i got my PCM07 have i only played one career to the end... I've thanges DB some times but it is still pretty boring to me to play PCM..... I dont like to play with a PT team.... So Yesterday i downloaded the PCMDaily DB as i like very much... Especially the stats.....
Here are what i'm looking for:
-A CT team
-A team with small wages per month as the finacials is easy to manage
-A joung talent would be very nice
The nationality of the team is subordinate.... I don't care about the quality of the riders but one or two ridere with stat past 70 in hills or mountain vould be nice.... If any one got a suggestion i would be very happy...
-Romme

Slipstream is a very cool team this year. They have Danielson, 76 MO, and Zabriskie ,78 TT as their best riders. I think this team will be nice to play with.
Joker-Bianch(Maxbo-Bianchi last year) is the Norwegian talented team, That Boasson Hagen was last year. They have many talents, for example Alexander Kristoff, a sprinter, low experience, but 72 SP! Lars Petter Nordhaug is a cobblestone talent. He has 69 CO and low experience. All the riders has low experience and low wages, and someone will be the best riders in a few years.
I will update this post with more teams I recommends

I would add two teams Topsport-Vlaanderen, and Mitsubishi, which both have soild northern classics squads, but aren't good enough to win with right away. |

Hmmm Here would be my pick
Team GLS - Pakke Shop. They are a Denmark registered team.
After last year's shake-up in teams, etc... they picked up what I thought were some good guys. A couple with ProTour experience.
Martin Pedersen from CSC
Brian Vandborg from Discovery
Some young talents may be
Morkov
Rasmussen
Ostergaard
Jorgensen
Also I believe Rolf Sorensen has a hand in this team somehow...
Anyway just my thoughts
I like Deadpools choice of Misubishi as well, should get some quick wins from Allan Davis. It as an Estonia registered team, but mostly BENELUX riders, other than Tombak.

If you're playing with an 07 DB, Maxbo Bianchi is a great choice. Boasson Hagen is an awesome talent in most DB's.
If you're playing with the PCM Daily 08 DB, Team 3C - Gruppe isn't a bad choice. They have a couple of talented sprinters (Forke and Klemme). |

I definitely think Slipstream is a good choice. Or you can mix up using a db editor. For example i edit the db so that all the top riders were on my team. now I have a team with under 20 years old people and 8 potential. Find a way to change it up.

Now I'm home from school and wille comment on the suggestions... Im happy for the many suggestions you have given...
Slipstream
Slipstream has riders that can win in all terrains.... Especially Maaskant can make some top finishes in the cobbelstone-races.... Tom Danielson Is one of 3 with 75+ MO that has 70+ in TT.... He is defently one of the best stageracers in the CT.. He also have some few years to go before he is retireing.... With this team will i have a great chance to get promoted and stay in the protour in the 2nd season...
Joker-Bianch
Joker-Bianche is a young team with a monthly wage to at 10.500€.... A. Kristoff very young and is a strong sprinter.... But the rest of the team is pretty weak.... The teams higest MO/COB stat is 65 and HIL/TT is 64... Then i has to fight for the wins.... And need some luck.... But i'm attracted of it because it has few riders.... The prize money i get in the races covers a lot of the wages... That is what i like with playing with a small team...
Topsport-Vlaanderen
Topsport-Vlaanderen has many good riders at the cobbelstones and sprints but no good MO and TT riders.... The team only has one rider to bet on in the hilly races... He has 71 in HIL.... But i like that only 6 of the riders are 26 years or older.... But i am not very good at sprinting... So if i should play with Topsport-Vlaanderen i will have to sign riders that is better riding in the mountains...
Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi is a little like Topsport-Vlaanderen..... They are weak in mountains, hills and TT's..... But they have a few cobbleriders and a lot of sprinters.... A lot of their best sprinters are retireing after the 1st or 2nd season..... But they have one of the best sprinter in the DB.... Allan Davis has still some seasons before he is retireing....
Team GLS - Pakke Shop
I'm from Denmark so i know the team pretty well Before i installed the PCMDaily DB i had a career with GLS..... They are absolutely a talentet team.... Yes.... Rolf Sørensen has a hand on the team.... He is personal supervisor/trainer for a few of the yong talents..... The team has absolutely got two strong riders in Brian Vandborg and Martin Pedersen... And some routine....
I like the size of the team at 17 riders and the most of them are young..... I think that they will be a good team in breakaway... They are strong at the flat stages.... Brian vandborg can tage some podium-finishes at the TT's... Especially in smaller races.... The team has a lot of sprinters... 7 riders with 70+ SP..... At the start they aren't good at the mountains ang only got Niki Østergaard in the hills... But after a season or two minimum one or two of them will be 70+..... If i choice Team GLS - Pakke Shop i will try to sign one or two riders with 70+ MO or HIL....
BUT! Something in my head says to me it isn't the right team to choice because it's a danish team...
Skil - Shimano
I don't really know what to say... I get a bad feeling in my stomach.....
Rabobank CT
Rabobank CT is mostly young riders..... They got a lot of young talents.... But i dont think that Rabobank CT would be a success(now i'm not thinking of the results but the inclination) for me to play with....
@Matt493 I'm not cheating with a DB editor...!B)
I has to do my homeworks for tomorrow and then i will make the final decision when my homeworks are done.... So ceep posting suggestions.... Perhaps also other can use them.....

Now i have made my finally decision... I've choiced Slipstream.... First i startet career Team GLS - Pakke Shop but i got a bad feeling... Now i'll choice Slipstream because i think it will be better for me to have a team were it is easier to get some victories.... And more success... so i hope that Tom Danielson and Maaskant will make my way to the pro tour.....
But keep posting... I would get surprised if not other PCM-gamers have the same problem as me.... Perhaps they can use the suggestions..... |

One question (perhaps reply to me in a PM about it, to prevent more forum posts).
Why do you feel the need to post such a forum post as this? Why tell everyone that you are going to later post a reply? Why not just actually wait a "little bit" and then post the real post instead of wasting time, effort and everybodies patience in reading your wasteful posts? Anyway, please PM me so we can discuss the matter as gentlemen and not bicker over the matter like little girls. Many thanks. I eagerly await your PM.

The question is what's more of a crap post...
The one you are complaining about...
or the one in which you are complaining.
You realize your complaint could easily have been a PM too? Just saying. |
