Many riders, like Lance, Sebastien Joly and Niklas Axelsson, have got testicular cancer during their career. Is it a link between testicular cancer and cycling? |

There isn't any evidence to support it and besides you only mentioned 3 out of over 3000 |

But it is more rare that footballers get testicular cancer than cyclists and it is many more footballers than cyclists |

I do agree, there does feel like there is a connection. Sitting there on a saddle all day... But i don't think there is any connection. It may just be coincidence, unless its something to do with the sad. I found out that some saddles cut blood flow to the *cough* below area but Cancer is something to do with cells right? |

As far as I know testular cancer is somewhat predetermined at a very young age and rears its head between the age of 20 and 30. Saw it on tv. |

That must be true (what filmmaker14 said), but as for all cancers there are factors that favour the appearance of a cancer. Smoking when you're likely to get a lunx cancer for example.
What could be factors for cyclists ? Sitting on the saddle all day long could be one, using testosterone could be another one (I'm not sure about Joly, but fact is the two other mentionned dudes laid their hands on prohibited stuff at some point of their lives).
Still, 3 cases are too little to be a worthy statistic. |

There is no link. Cancer is cell mutation (genetic abnormalities), which then goes onto uncontrolled growth. There is absolutely no link between the 2
