Optimal PC for the game
giorgio4600
Hi guys,

I have a some experience with the game (I have all year of the game from 2006 to 2014). Last year I didn´t buy the game due a some problems and bugs. I had a big expectations for this year. The optimalization of the game is better than 2014, but what is the ideal PC for this game?
I have this PC spec.

MB GIGABYTE GA-B85-HD3 - Intel B85
Intel Core i5-4570
Nvidia GTX760 2GB DDR5
8GB RAM DDR3 1600Mhz
1TB HDD
Windows 8.1

The game runs in 30-60 FPS in 3d mode, but sometimes, when I look on back of the peloton it drops to 25FPS. I play on maximum settings, but without water reflection and 3D clouds.

What´s the best settings Quality/performance which run the game smoothly or what PC spec do you use for the game? Thank you :-)

Now don't laugh but this is my (Wife doesn't bother me) system that allows me to play PCM for longer periods of time.

MB - Gigabyte GA-G41M COMBO
CPU - Intel Core 2 QUAD (Q9550) @ 2.83GHz
GPU - GeForce GTS 250
RAM - 4GB Corsair XMS3
HDD - 1TB Western Digital
O/S - Windows 7

PCM 2016 Performance:-
I have settings on Medium with Glare etc turned off and it runs smooth. The only issue i have is PCM16 crashing every 5-10 stages played, not sure if that is linked to PC performance but reading some of the other post in regards to Bugs i think PC Performance does NOT cause the crashing that has been happening.

I hope this helpsSmile

It depends how you want to play the game. I play it on a tablet on lowest graphic settings. It still looks great and runs without lag.

But if you want to have all the great graphic effects, then you require a system which is similar to the recommended system requirement of the game

I have "big" hardware with core I7 4ghz (6 cores) + SLI GTX980 TI + 64 Gigas RAM + 512 SSD.
I can play 3D races with all graphics at max with a frame rate between 30 and 60. My screen don't handle more than 60 anyway.
I don't think the game handle the SLI correctly.
