HELP! I lost my saved career

I edited my saved career with hannes converter and now when i go back to load a game, its disappeared.
p.s- the files are still there in the "solo/officialRelease" folder

switch the names of the .cdb and .cdb~ files (so that you're loading the .cdb~ and not the .cdb ). pray that it works.

I wouldn't know how to fix it but perhaps losing your save game came at the best moment, seeing that the 2008 pcmdaily db just came out.
