I have played some hours of the new game now, and the "be a pro" mode seems better. But I have a big problem with the career mode.

In PCM 2015 one of my favorite things to do on mountain stages was to set up a Sky-like train, and control the pace of the peloton. One rider protects another, and that protected rider protects the man behind him, and so on.

This year, it doesn't seem possible? I just entered my first medium/hilly stage in career mode, and was going to put up a small train for the mountain finish. But a protected rider can't protect another rider??????

Sure, that is another way to do it I guess, I just preffered another way of doing it. I don't see why they took out the option I use though, because with this way of doing it, your train will not really be a "train", because all of your riders except the 2 best will be in the train up ahead, while the 2nd best will protect your best rider in the peloton?

The "protection chain" was a bug in previous games, so they fixed it to prevent misunderstandings like yours.
The bug: It only looked as if they were protected it had no effect.

That's not really a fix though. A bug in a feature isn't supposed to be removed by removing the feature.

It never was a feature. It always was only a bug. It looked like they were protected but they never were.
