It's on right now. Watch it on Cycling.tv
From CyclingNews.com:
There will be a top-notch cast of contenders: Last year's Tour de France winner Alberto Contador (Astana), who is on hot form, will have to battle for the victory with, amongst others, Australian Cadel Evans (Silence-Lotto), Spaniards Carlos Sastre (CSC) and Luis León Sánchez (Caisse d'Epargne) and José Ángel Gómez Marchante (Saunier Duval-Scott), Italians Davide Rebellin (Gerolsteiner), Damiano Cunego (Lampre) and World Champion Paolo Bettini (Quick Step), as well as young Dutchman Thomas Dekker (Rabobank).
Also CSC has Andy and Frank Schleck present, but Andy doesn't look like he's been on form all season.

Because they are big names that won't go for the overall classification but will bring fans to the race... No offense, but Gesink didn't do anything like what Frank and Andy did to deserve being mentioned in that post...

So basically the result everyone was expecting. Good. That makes me less sad that I can't watch it. It is usually one of the best races on the calendar.

I thought that this would happen, because Astana isn't going to the Tour they are going to try to win every race they are in....on a side note Team Discovery veterans are havng great success this year. |

He never said to be focusing or peaking atm, but way before f.ex. Paris - Nice and the Vuelta a Castilla y León, which won indeed... but this was not expected. |
