This short, flat, race will almost certainly favour the sprinters as Australia gears up for the ProTour opener the Tour Down Under.
Fed-Ex have a wildcard for that event largely down to a rider who si the big favourite for this race, Allan Davis.
Other Australians looking for victory will be O'Grady (Pearl Jam), Clarke (IrnBru) and Brown (White bear Steyr)
While the likes of Nazon (Nippo), Manan (British Airways), Benitez (Benfica), Haussler (NVidia), Haedo (Slipstream), and Richeze (Zenmind) looking to spoil the Aussie hopes.
The teams list is as follows, although SME Cycling will not ride as they have not sent in their schedule:
Benfica
British Airways - Cyclingnews
Dasani - Hincapie Sportswear
Fed-Ex
IrnBru-RBS
LA/MSS/Pearl Jam
Nippo Corporation
NVidia
Procycling-BBC
Slipstream
SME Cycling
White Bear Steyr
Zenmind - Evolution
British Airways B
Fed-Ex B
Slipstream B
La Gazetta B
France Televisions B
Nintendo B

Unfortunately, Zenmind will have to wear the Agritubel kit after Smoothie has failed to give me any form of jersey - despite saying he'd do it a couple of days ago.

Ive actually brought more than just Manan to win here. Ive brought Kam-Po Wong and his 78AC and 77SP to help mix up things a bit. As well as 6 national champions
But to be honest, im expecting Davis to take the win here.

SN, you are down with the fact that Uugunbayar's (i can write that name without looking it up now ) national champion jersey is the mongolian national teams jersey as found in PPDB Unlimited right?

I brought every sprinter I had to the race.....and in traditional Team Dasani fashion we attacked then attacked again, and this time stayed away...great first win for the team and I hope there are many more to come. |

Clinical studies and clerical errors predict that its the other teams fault that the breakaway didnt work.

pfff yea let Nippo do all the work
Altough im not surprised, I raced this twice in career mode and a big break always made it, I even had a break of around 25 riders once who made it...

Got to be happy with 2nd, but what the hell happened to Clarke? It looks like he is working for Sutton, when Sutton is 77 Sp, and Clarke 79. Cya-logic, coming to the fore once again! |
