Another Poll (here goes the poll feature......)
The question is, what do people think is the best classic that takes place in the spring, here is the list: Milano-Sanremo, Omloop Het Volk, Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne, Ronde Van Vlaanderen, Gent-Wevelgem, Paris-Roubaix, La Fleche Wallonne, Liege-Bastogne-Liege, and the Amstel Gold Race.
If I am missing a large race, note it, but I think that this list should get all of the votes.
Note: Milano-Sanremo takes place 3 days into spring

Het Volk and Kuurne aren't in spring but i would say the ronde for great racing and the fact that most of flanders turns out to watch it |

Paris-Roubaix wins it for me, although I enjoy all the cobbled classics. Theres just something about the Paris-Roubaix that sets it apart from the others, though. |

Liège-Bastogne-Liège, as it's the most difficult (yeah I know comparing the difficulty of cobbles with the difficulty of climbing hills is a bit dodgy), it's also the most famous among pro riders (at least it was in a survey some years ago).
Then Paris-Roubaix, RVV, MSR, La Flèche, the Amstel, etc. |

Liège-Bastogne-Liège for me also, as i love the Name, its just sounds hard to me. I love short sharp climbs which it has many of and i hope Valverde can win there |

I said Paris-Roubaix, you can't read this book (I own it), and not believe it is the best: https://search.barnesandnoble.com/Pari...097/?itm=1 |

Roubaix is always exciting. unlike the others that have in recent years become a sprint up the last climb and to the finish. the whole pack just stays together until the final climb. boring.
As for best classic I've ever seen, it's got to be Amstel 2006. It was awesome.

i've voted for the Ronde because there are some great cobbled climbs and a great atmosphere surrounds the event. (the fact that parts of it i've cycled myself and loved riding parts of it).
But the Roubaix comes a very close second as a race of history, class and great cobbled sections.

All riders with capacity on the cobbles want to win it. This, of course, contributes to excitement that is lived on Roubaix. |

Well, I think similar arguments can be made for any of these races, but I voted for Roubaix just because it's the only one I haven't seen be dominated by the strength of the peloton yet.

So, it appears that we have reached the point where the Ronde and Paris-Roubaix are the front runners, but I must note suprise at Milan-Sanremo having 0 votes at the moment |

I agree. Paris-Roubaix is always good for excitement whereas some of the other classics might not always turn out exciting. |

I love the RvV, the climbs are great, it's great that there are so many supporters also, a great sphere, and the race itself, for me it's the best race in the season, last year, I hear that there were almost 100.000 supporters on and aroun the ''Muur van Geraardsberg''
