Question regarding budget and wage bill for next season

Hey guys,

I've tried adding a team to the cdb both before making a career and during a career, and the same problem occures when time comes to sign riders for the forthcoming season.

The maximum authorised wage bill wil be 0/month
Your directors have imposed a maximum salary of 0/month (for any rider)

I've added no riders to my team and then simulated untill June 21th, when the transferwindow opens.

I've edited:

dyn_sponsor: value_i_budget.
gam_career_data: solde and dotation.
dyn_teams: value_i_sponsor_future.

But none of this seems to fix my issue. Does anybody have a clue what I'm missing?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

After doing a bit more researching I discovered that the maximum authorised wage bill for the forthcoming season is somehow based on the riders currently under contract with your team. And since my roster is empty, that's why a maximum of 0/month is imposed.

Can anybody confirm this, and is there any way to work around it?

Problem solved.

I added a random rider to my team and set his salary to the total amount I wanted available for the upcoming season (In this case 250.000), and now I'm able to offer contracts like usual.

A rather unusual start to a career! Won't the sponsor be extremely unhappy because you have no results to offer? Possibly he'll slash the budget to the minimum (25k/month, a tenth of your figure) for next season. But you'll be able to edit that as well, of course.

Indeed Smile Yeah, that might happen, but I've pre-determined the budget for the forthcoming season, so yea, I'll just edit it at the end of the season Smile
