I find it super annoying that on some stages half the time you only see leaves up front because so many trees are in the way of the camera. Same with buildings.

Is there any way to get a clear view of the road? Rolling Eyes

Move the angle of your camera around. You can rotate it through pretty much any angle or you can zoom in/out.
Sounds like you need to zoom out

Or you can switch the camera to, for instance, the helicopter camera. That should give you a pretty good overview of everything, albeit a little smaller.
