As many of you might know, I have been appointed as admin recently. My main focus is on the downloads section and the shirt and stage databases.
Many of you use external sources (like Imgur or Photobucket) to upload your jerseys and then post them in your own threads. I, until recently, did the same thing. However, I found out that the loading time of the jerseys is much faster when you upload the jersey to the Shirt Database and post them in your thread with the links from the database.
Furthermore, the Shirt Database has been developed to make the search for jerseys (especially the real ones) easier, because everything is in one place and organized in different categories.
That's why I want to ask all of you to start uploading your jerseys to the Shirt Database, instead of third-party upload services.
Behind the scenes I'm busy with a few changes to the Shirt Database, for example removing the need for the jerseys to be approved by an admin before ending up in the Shirt Database. However, this needs PHP editing, which I have 0 knowledge about. Currently, I'm waiting for Aab-ern to return, because he designed the Shirt Database and he should be able to make the changes I need.
Until then I'll try to be online as frequently as possible to approve your submitted jerseys as soon as possible (wow, that's a lot of possibles ).
