Tour de Suisse
Mix99
I'm really looking forward to the start of this race, but i'm unsure who'll suceed in winning it. Personally I think CSC will have a good chance of dominating the race with both F.Schleck and C. Sastre. A can't find an overview of the participating riders in the race, so I can't really judge who got the best chance..
One thing is for sure - it's going to be an exiting race.

Yeah, many mountains in suisse tour this year. Sastre-win would be nice

I think Brajkovič will fight for top positions as Tour of Suisse is his season goal. Smile

Will David Zabriskie also ride Tour de Suisse when there is stages in Libere and Suisse on Saturday and sunday??Grin

Cobo might do well weve seen him perform already this year.

Great startlist. Very open race indeed! I think the three main riders will be: Sastre, Rogers and Klöden. But looking through the startlist there are many others who could do well too. For example: Gomez Marchante, Popovych, Karpets, Brajkovic and F. Schleck.
The more questionable riders could be Gerdemann, Horner, Schumacher and Lövkvist.
Hoping for a victory for CSC and Sastre Pfft

the organizers say they tried to make it as hard as possible. and they certainly did a good job!

it's definitely going to be interesting (the ProTour races this year all have unusual profiles...the Deutschland Tour for example has 90km of flat TT in total..)

and it's one of my favorite races. it's always exciting Smile

cycling.tv is yet to start though.

so far, for those who can't watch, Bennati has the best time, and a number of candidates have come and gone.

closest was Gutierrez Palacios who was 0.17 seconds off.

Cancellara and Rogers have now departed also.

some discovery guy crashed heavily with blood and all, but I couldn't quite catch who it was.

EDIT: so many specialists and GC candidates tried, so many failed to beat Bennati's 4:28
suddenly Cancellara comes in as if he's on a motorbike and clocks 4:20.....

Have you ever heard of Thomas Dekker? He did win the Tirreno Adriatico 2006 and the Tour of Romandie 2007 you know...

Oh, poor guy. It's funny .. I do feel a little different about him. Maybe because of the fact that we have all talked to / with him at the Cyanide forum (registered as Gianni - he hasn't been much online since he signed with Discovery, though).
