Last years winner E. Liepins attacks with 5 km's left and will look to take the NC for another year!

With no trouble it was enough for Liepins and he secures the NC title again! Not much have been seen of the jersey and he has another chance to show it next season. Bekmanis takes silver and Vosekalns bronze.

Smukulis is clear favorite to regain his title, but equally strong riders are present aswell!

Aleksei Saramotins comes in with a new best time at 1h10'13 and there is only one rider left to knock him off the winner spot! Intermediate times have been close, but so far a clear advantage to Saramotins

Gatis Smukulis didn't save anything for last and comes in 2nd behind Saramotins! He missed the winner by 35 seconds and therefore a solid win by Saramontins
