Hello PCMDaily..
Anyone who know a great programme to record in PCM?
The only feature it has to have is, that it shall be able to record and pause, so I can record the most important bits in the race. I'm ready to pay for it, so if you know a great programme, let me know |

Fraps does work. Simple as that. Just buy the better one, instead of downloading the free trial.

Fraps?
EDIT: of course fraps is the best. The trial has a maximum of 30 seconds, but I have the bought version too.

Nope - but the free trial is just fine, it's pretty much the same as pausing and recording, 30 seconds is by far long enough and the quality is ok. So for PCM, I'd say the free trial of fraps is absolutely fine

But Crommy, if you records in Fraps, and then pauses it, then it makes a new file right? I've been told that. I need ONE file.
Edit: The qoute butten is to the rightops:

I suppose, the trial is perfect really. Theres no way there is a clip longer than 30 secs in a cycling race. Apart from when not much is happening and the helicopter is refueling. |

If you need just the one file, then you can compile multiple files from fraps into one file using a basic program like Windows Moviemaker.
It is good quality - unless you upload it to YouTube which severely worsens the quality of it.

I didn't realise that was what you wanted - and SN is of course correct - you can compile it all into one file by using moviemaker, which takes a matter of minutes
