With 14 km left of the stage, the break has 11 minutes down to the favorites and this means 8 riders will fight for the title. Let's just say the 8 knew how to work together, but now they're only left with their own agendas

T. Murray and P. Kennaugh attacks and got 50 seconds with 3500 meters left and the climb is only getting harder and harder, will this be enough?

Peter Kennaugh starts with a small space between him and Murray, it will be a close one between the two, but Kennaugh's sprinter skills might come into his favour.

Peter Kennaugh keeps Murray behind him and thus gives him the NC title! He will wear this proudly and I think that the British NC will be very visible next season! Murray takes silver and S. Harrison takes Bronze.

Stephen Cummings sets the first real competitive time with 1h09'08, this is what the upcoming riders will target

Thomas Meiers comes in with an 1h08'46 and takes off almost 20 seconds with Cummings' time

Steven Burke improves the best time with 1h08'22

Ian Bibby didn't get a chance to see himself through the RR, but here he comes in 20 seconds faster than Burke, surely the standard haven't been set yet?

Last years winner in Andrew Tennant sets best time as second last rider of the day, here he makes a 1h06'58 time and this must surely be a banker to be proud of!

Ian Stannard knocks off 1 minute and 18 seconds of Tennants best time and takes the NC for this upcoming season. Thus two different teams getting a NC champion, which will on many occasions show their NC on the highest level!
