A medium field in the Poland mountains.
Top favourite is Kenya`s Kwiatkowski, though he only has Bodnar as support.
Majka for 1t4i another strong climber, but he is completely on his own.
Pologne teams Netia with the best depth. Domagalski, Marczynski and Dabrowski all in one team as they decided for a strong and a weak squad.
Fablok with 2 teams. One led by Owsian and the other by Zielinski.
7 riders in todays break. And as some of them are decent climbers, the stronger Netia squad will have huge problems to control them.
The stronger Netia squad is chasing, but not very fast. Quickly a 4min gap is opened and the NC might be decided already to be within the breakaway riders.
Marycz and Janiaczyk are the first riders to be dropped. Also Dabkowski struggles against the stronger climbers.
Netia`s Stachowiak also seems to have problems.
This is a disaster for Netia of course as the peloton is giving up with all their favourites. This also means Kwiatkowski is giving up.
Stachowiak is fighting though and is back after the long descent. Dabkowski also with chances to be back soon.
But as soon as it goes up, we see the same picture again.
Poljanski, Podlaski and Honkisz are the strongest.
Honkisz also struggles now as Poljanski accelerates.
Fablok is looking good now. Podlaski might struggle a bit but Poljanski is only on loan at Karcher and will be back with Fablok next year. So a home team might actually get the NC jersey.
2km and another attack. This time Podlaski is dropped...
...and Poljanski wins the NC. Podlaski and Honkisz next, while the top favourites all abandoned today.
In the ITT Kenya Airways with reigning champion Bodnar as top favourite. Netia with Mazur and Domagalski with chances on a good day while Fablok with Pszczolarski also have a small chance.
First split and Bodnar immediately takes the lead.
Domagalski though giving it a nice fight only 7s off. Mazur at 12s while the Fablok leader already 23s off.
And it`s getting interesting. Domagalski was 6s faster in the 2nd part. Only 1s difference between him and Bodnar now.
Though the more experienced fires back and gains another 7s again on the next bit.
Domagalski finishes. Was he faster in the 4th part to attack the 8s lead?
No. Bodnar was yet again faster and only lost in the 2nd part. The veteran takes the ITT NC with a 12s lead over Domagalski, while Mazur was 3rd with 34s.
