Road Race
For the mountanous road race all eyes will be on Indosat and Sauber as they are the only teams with multiple riders as well as having the two biggest favourites in Suryadi (SPR) and Manulang (INO).
The riders barely click in to teh pedals before defending champion Wahyudi puts in an attack followed by everyone except the three best climbers.
Iman Suparman counters and gets away from the others. He enters the final 40 km with 3'26 on the remaining 7 riders.
30 km to go and the first summit dealt with his gap have grown to 9'31. Time for the favourites to start moving if they want anything from this.
Parno Parno makes a move behind on the descent.
At the second summit Parno have almost bridged the gap to Suparman while D. Suryadi and Manulang finally challenges each other 13 minutes further down the mountain.
Suparman is flying down the mountain and enters the final climb with a 50 second gap on Parno, who has 8'41 to Suryadi. This will be between the two at the front.
3 km and 25 seconds between Suparman and Parno.
Parno goes past Suparman with 2 km to the finish line. Just in time to see his name on the road as well.

Parno starts sprinting right at the 1 km mark.

But he simply wasn't strong enough in the end.
Parno Parno is the new Indonesian champion.
