Flat course for one of the smallest NC fields. Only 3 riders: Margaliot (RBH), Zilberstein (SVA) and Shapira (GDE). None of them can be considered favourite really. Neither in the RR nor in the TT.

Poor Zilberstein as he missed the first move. 30s ahead the duo attacked him.

But he is finding a way back and joins them.

It`s a similar situation again and again. Either Margaliot or Shapira attack and Zilberstein misses it. Then he has to close the gap.

Same this time. But it must cost him lots of energy to ride against two riders instead of following directly.

1 lap to go. 5,5km and Shapira knows he is the weakest sprinter. So he attacks again.

But while Margaliot stayed behind Zilberstein this time, the Strava rider closed the gap once more.

No one gives the other riders a slipstream. Next to each other they battle it out.

Margaliot surprises them with a long sprint.

Zilberstein reacted too late or was too exhausted while Shapira couldn`t follow anyway.

So Margaliot gets the NC jersey in 2016 ahead of Zilberstein.

All 3 are very bad but equal time trialists. Margaliot has a bit of an extra motivation to get both jerseys.

Zilberstein is 4s down at the first split...

...Shapira even 9s. So we might get the same order as in the RR.

And indeed the gaps become bigger with every split. So Margaliot takes the double NC for Red Bull. Zilberstein both times 2nd.
