Well, after being fairly inactive in both forums and playing pcm it's about time to start again, and with a nice holiday coming up and good grades to keep the parents happy I can enjoy the game again.
ppdb latest version is installed and it's time to chose a team. Since I haven't played for a while I thought I would take the easy way out with a pro tour team, but I'm having a hard time deciding which one, so I will let you make the choice for me. Will also put the poll on another forum and add the votes together.
The teams are:
Quickstep - A team that focus on the one day races and sprints. I know there is a quickstep story here, but it's not about the 2007 team that's vastly different.
Liquigas - All round team with a rider for all kind of races.
CSC - Superteam with several really strong riders for all races in the calender. |

Liquigas
January 1st - Getting started
Despite a fairly successful season last year Liquigas didn't renew the contract with their current manager. Instead they chose to sign a quite unexperienced swede by the name Alexander Löfgren. Little is known about him, but apparently he has been involved in teams like Rabobank and Lampre during recent years.
Mr.Löfgren has made the following statement about his appointment and the upcoming job.
"I'm very happy to be a part of the team and I will do my best to keep the sponsors and fans satisfied. Last year was good for us, but we hope, and demand even better results from ourselves this year. Our team is strong and talented and if we do well, we will be the best by the end of the year."
January 4th - Presentation and some questions
This is our team leaders and their goals this year, we aim to achive all of them.
Danilo di Luca [img-l]https://mos.bikeradar.com/images/news/2007/10/16/20071948-79523-280-80.jpg[/img-l]
Danilo had a great season last year and now he hopes to improve this. Goal for this season is to win at least one of the Ardennes classics and also make a play for the Giro d'Italia later during the year. to finish it off, the Giro di Lombardia is a final goal for him, although not as serious.
Franco Pellizotti[img-r]https://www.cyclingfans.com/franco_pellizotti_2006_giro_ditalia3.jpg[/img-r]
Pellizotti has decided to just have one big goal for this year and that is to win the mountain jersey in Tour de France. Being a decent climber we believe he has the potential to succeed, especially since his biggest competition all aim for the GC as well. Other smaller goals are Tirreno-Adriatico, Tour de Suisse and Clasica San Sebastian.
Filippo Pozzato

Third and final leader of this years team and he is both our top sprinter and leader for cobble classics and races like Milano sanremo. Just Milano sanremo is his big goal this season where he hopes to defend his title from last year. Next big race for the season is Ronde van Vlaanderen where a top 3 is the goal. After that it's time for Giro d'Italia before taking some time off. Tour de France is not in his race plan, for now at least. |

Pipo!B)
ur lucky that Liquigas won here, if CSC won here you'd had to make seperate stories for different forums
Dwight K. Schrute: 'I'm not a hero. Im just a mere defender of the office. You know who is a hero? Hiro from Heroes. That's a hero. And Bono'.
