extremely successful rider gets offered 2500 $/month

so I have this rider in "be a pro" mode. this is his contract history:

1st season: raiffeisen, 2500, 1 year

2nd season: bora, 3500, 2 years

4th season: sky, 25000?, 1 year
(2nd place giro d'italia)

5th season: etixx, 96000, 1 year
(2nd place tdf)

6th season: movistar, 104000, 1 year
(1st place tdf)

7th season: contract offers are for 2500 bucks per month!

what gives?

yeah, no, sorry, my bad.

it was just a bunch of teams (probably out of budget) who were offering 2500 $/month.

another team shows up and offers an appropriate 140k/mo, so all is reasonable in the world. I would close the thread if I could.
