Constant crashing - please help!

Has anyone got a fix for the constant crashing in this game? It makes it impossible to get anyway in a career. It usually happens about January 29th and I can't get any further in the game. Every time I try to play the game crashes and exits and often completely deletes the saved game.

I had the same problem with last years game and it was never resolved. I've had a new laptop since then and I thought it would be fine but the same problem happens.

Any ideas anyone? I'd love to play the game but these issues make it impossible to really enjoy!
