Tour of America - Stage 8

After the tour's first mountain stage, the route is heading further northeast, with a flat stage leading the peloton from Greenfield to Concord, New Hampshire. It's a more challenging profile than those early flat stages, but it's flat enough to give the pure sprinters another chance to add a win or points towards their bucket.

Granjel Cabrera and Van Heerden as the most consistent sprinters so far. Will either of them add another stage-win today?

Former KoM-leader Hollenstein as the only one contesting for the one mountain sprint and so it's a few more points to his bucket. No danger for KoM-leader Haga though!

Eritel, Mobil and Project: Africa as the teams leading the chase, but the breakaway group enters the final 5km with still a small gap on the pack!

Ramos Ticona gives it a late go and tries to escape from his breakaway companions..

No chance for the early escapees then, as Mobil/Eritel storms to the front as we enter the slightly ascending finishing stretch!

Van der Sande not gapping Van Heerden this time, but it's still Dall'Antonio who is pulling the better leadout here!

Kreder trying to catch Cabrera's wheel, while Fonseca, Castaneda, Corti and Soupe are right behind Van Heerden.. Croket couldn't move forward and also Ulanowski struggles now..

Granjel Cabrera now kicking his final sprint with a small advantage on Kreder and Van Heerden, who's now moving to the front!

Soupe, Fonseca and Corti head-to-head and also Ulanwoski found some legs now!
