Hello!
I am just here to tell a news:
Cyanide and Umix Studios had started to develop a new game (series) called Pro Basketball Manager.
As written in the article on Cyanide's homepage;
"In Pro Basketball Manager 2016, the player will have access to over 45 leagues from around the world with the modus operandi of each, such as the North American collegiate conference system, being faithfully reproduced. The coach will be able to choose from a database of over 1000 teams, but he will also have charge of a national team in addition to his club, and thus take part in continental and international competitions."
What do you think about it?

Well Cyanide have had a hadn in making both Basketball Pro Manager 2015 and Basketball Pro Manager 2014... so i'd call it a new series in the way PCM was new after Cycling Manager. (Co-developer and Publisher of 2015, and Publisher of 2014)
Both of those games, 2014 and 2015, recieved decidedly mixed reviews in much the same way as PCM often does. Better reception from real basketball fans compared to general public. And of course most people will say why not just play NBA 2Kxx
EDIT: I actually mentioned BPM2015 back in Weekly News #147, got a few extra comments out of it

I keep abreast of what Cyanide (and Focus) is doing when it's not working on PCM. Plus a really quick search on Steam can tell you a lot
And no, that Weekly News was ~1 year ago so you wouldn't have seen it only joining this year

I absolutely love basketball, but this game has no chance to catch my attention, as there are NBA2K series, which not only have great presentation, visuals and gameplay, but also solid managerial part. So why expect something better from company that struggles with bringing in decent cycling manager for years now?

Problem is, it is most likely filled with unlicensed teams and I don't care about the other 44 leagues, all that matters to me is the NBA. And NBA 2K16 is probably miles better and has more than just managing a team. |

Speaking about NBA2K16, i wonder which idiot decided to leave out an option to change keyboard config for PC. Incredible amateurism, for now the pc players who like to play on keyboard (i am one of these) have only one chance and that is quick hotfix from fans. 2K is still silent on the matter....
