Despite a decent chase, notably pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/ino.png Atapuma being right up there leading the peloton, the break has '30 over the bunch with 4.5 KM to go.

With under 2 KM to go he still leads the race, from the rest of the break and the peloton when pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/act.png Zilioli attacks out of the break in pursuit.

Just behind we see the peloton start a messy sprint. pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/ino.png Chawchiangkuang gives pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/ino.png Kruopis the best lead although the stage win is now out of the question. pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/gat.png King being the only other sprinter in a good enough position to make a contest of it.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/cpl.png Hung was too strong for the rest of the break and holds off for the win. This stage ends a great tour for his team.

As the peloton merged with the break in the dying meters the Lithuanian got up for 6th place, more than enough points to see him win the points jersey out-right. pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/ino.png Indosat - ANZ leave with the KOM jersey, the points jersey and a stage win: all through three different riders!

As expected no big changes in the GC. pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/ioc.png Novak completes the team goal and perhaps helps his team to within touching distance of the promotion places. This GC win was made possible by that TT on stage 4, though a strong team came through.

Few would have expected pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/act.png Morabito and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/dek.png Samoilev to finish here in the top 5, but there we have it, the latter halting favourite pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/dek.png Anacona to only 8th place.
