With 24 entries, and only 19 available places, a qualifier was needed, so...
Welcome to the Angliru Mountain TTT (Moved to Liechtenstein so no National bonuses)!
In the qualifier today we have American Suzuki, Gatorade, Nintendo, Wikipedia, Sony Ericsson, Molteni, Wiggle, LA/MSS/Pearl Jam, Slipstream and Nippo.
The first two teams were American Suzuki and Nintendo. Nintendo were the strongest, as they caught and passed Suzuki's Rizza and McGee as they raced to the top.
And Nintendo would win the qualifier and comfortably qualify for the main event.
American Suzuki also made it through, in third - LA/MSS/Pearl Jam took 2nd today.
Wikipedia qualified aswell, in 4th.
The surprise 5th and final qualifier was the Nippo team!
Sony Ericsson miss out by just 8 seconds while Wiggle were a further 15 seconds out of reach. Slipstream and Molteni came in over 3 minutes down on Nintendo, while Gatorade rounded out the field, 5 minutes behind Nintendo - but what you do expect when 2 of the riders selected have 53 MO, and another has 50 MO.

Take that AMERICAN SUZUKI, WIKIPEDIA, NIPPO, SONY ERICSSON, WIGGLE, SLIPSTREAM, MOLTENI and GATORADE!!!
Sorry, I had to get it all out of my system now since I won't get a result like this one in the actual season...
