RBC, Aegon, Karcher or Gazelle? Surely the two first as the clear favorites, but of course there can be surprises in this 55km TTT today!

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/ken.png Kenya Airways as one of those? They lined up with a pretty good squad anyway, so to see them setting the first notable best time at the first split ain't too surprising:

beating Karcher (3sec), Swedbank (17sec) or Risa (19sec) on the quite hilly first sector!

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/spr.png Sauber Petronas pulling a strong first sector as well, as they finish it off with 14 seconds behind Kenya and therefore ahead of teams like Swedbank and also last year's sensation Bonsucro!

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/esc.png Eddie Stobart ahead of Sauber then, just 9 seconds down on Gazelle. Should be in the mix for the Top-10 at least!

RBC would then set the best time though: 5 seconds ahead of Gazelle, so the top-favorite goes for an already strong first sector.

Opposing to Aegon, which is down by 23 seconds at this point! No need to panic though, as we've seen the same from Oz Cycling last year..

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/tom.png Team TomTom probably won't be much of a threat today. Already outside the Top-10 at the first split, the team is doing slightly better at the second split. Teams like Swedbank, Risa and also Sauber still a few seconds faster though!

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/kar.png Karcher-Adira now better in the second sector, too. Just 4 seconds slower than Team Kenya, one second off Eddie Stobart. Also Swedbank is just one second behind though.

Gazelle keeps pacing strong and is 12 seconds ahead of Kenya at this second split!

10 seconds behind Gazelle, but provisional 2nd ahead of Kenya/Eddie/Karcher already!

cycleYorkshire provisional 3rd behind Risa/Eddie, with TomTom and Sauber both goin past a struggling Swedbank team! Bonsucro and Bank of Ireland will finish just outside the Top-10 eventually.

Gazelle looked like a serious victory-contender at the first two splits. Will they hold on? Well, it's surely a Top-5 result today:

but they finish slightly worse than Karcher-Adira! Both teams 5 seconds faster than Risa.

Team Kenya Airways now significally stronger in the final sector, beating Karcher/Gazelle by 10 seconds! This putting some pressure on the last two teams on the road!

Aegon a second slower than Kenya in this final sector, but much stronger than Gazelle. The team "lungs in" for a narrow provisional lead at the finish:

one second faster than Kenya!

RBC with two best times at two splits.. and a 20-seconds-advantage on Aegon at the second split. Will this be enough to hold off two strong finishing squads like Aegon and Kenya?

Here they come..

..it's enough: best time at the finish as well, 9 seconds ahead of Aegon, 10 seconds faster than Kenya! Karcher and Gazelle then completing the Top-5 ahead of Risa, Eddie, Yorkshire, TomTom and Sauber.
