Mont Ventoux! That pretty much describes the whole stage we have in front for today. 170km with only two cat. 4 climbs along the way will lead us to one of the most iconic climbs of the world of professional cycling. Plenty of disputes are taking their place on that mountain, so letâ€™s waste no time and get on with the business

The weather is pretty cloudy, but that doesnâ€™t deter 10 fearless riders to form our breakaway group:

Vesuvioâ€™s leader shows why he is the very best in this sort of stages and accelerates past the Estonian to claim a monumental victory. A gritty stage for him, after having to claw back the difference achieved by his audacious rival, certainly one to remember!
