stuck on road geometries (pcmdaily 0.8)

I bought a new laptop and to continue my carreer I installed the 0.8 DB on my new laptop.
But now on certain stages it gets stuck on the loading of road geometries and before getting stuck it already took much longer then usual.
Also in a one off race, I tried these stages on my old laptop and then it still works.
Does anybody have an idea what is wrong?

PS: old laptop has windows 7 and the new one has windows 10.
