I can never get it right.
From planning seasons in the career mode I understand that you can only peak 2 or maybe 3 times in a season. However I can never get it right as you can only change your training 4 weeks ahead so it is hard to predict.
I tend to keep on around 1 or 2 if I do not have a race coming up and I will train at around 3 6 weeks out. Then 4-5 weeks before the race I will then try and ramp up training to level 4 or 5. However I can never get a good peak without losing freshness.
Does anyone have an idiots guide or a basic plan that I could follow?
Thank you in advance |

Really? Even so the prediction graph is incorrect then? |

Afaik you don't get 100% freshness if you train at level 5 right before the race.
I'd also really appreciate some sort of guide, the most viable solution for me so far has been riding all three GTs. |

you get 100% freshness at the start of the classic or GT, but it will go down due to recovery stat if in a big tour, just get as less tiredness as possible |

The freshness curve definitely does drop if you overtrain before the race.
Maybe you mean that doesn't have any effect on actual freshness...? Dunno, I just better avoid that. |

Thanks Jelito. Can someone clarify that?
But back to my original question. Can some one give me an idiots guide to peaking for a race? Suchas what training level to do at what week before the race? As I said earlier I always seem to lose freshness if I try and go anywhere near peak fitness.
Many thanks |

you will get 100% at the race. the only place when he real drops is when you start a gt or a tour, it will decrease threw the stages. |
