Hi, usually, when the race is 25km to finish and the pace goes up, my rider often can't stand the pace without losing all the stamina and eventually can't follow the peloton and arrives later, losing time.
Is there anything i should do, like following someone, try to follow the pace or not do so, fixed effort...?

Thanks for helping
You should never have this problem as it's basic riding.
On most stages your riders should be set to around 75 and be around the front to the middle of the peloton depending on how strong your team is and your ambition for the stage, when the number starts flashing red (which shows the speed is going up) then its time to up the speed so they stay in contact no problem and 85 is about right for flat stages, sometimes if its superfast then you might have to go even higher to stay in contact.
Riders shouldn't be using that much energy in the peloton anyway as the number just indicates the max they'll ride to stay with the peloton, because the riders are not actually riding this speed anyway.
The only way your riders should be losing time on the peloton is due to wind or crash, because once the peloton speed goes up near the end it's almost impossible to get back in.
Also you shouldn't be using effort in the peloton unless you're looking to attack or start a sprint train.
