Hi, i started playing PCM for first in 2015 in individualk career mode, and, although i can win mountain and even regularity trophies, no matter if i attack at the beginning of the stage or remain at the bottom of the peloton, i cant never fight for a victory because in the last kms i get my yellow bar depleted. Ive tried to never respond to attacks, remain at peloton with minimun effort, remain peloton with high effort but, almost always i arrive to finish totally exghausted (yellow out). Can you give me some advice for improving tjis? Thanks in advance
I play on normal with a beginner, 19 yo rider. But as i tell you i feel im doing st wrong because i can ein the Mountain and srint (sometimes) trophies...
There's a new system in PCM 15 regarding the yellow bar, where it starts to drop at 140 Heart Rate instead of 160 like in previous versions.
This means that your effort needs to be lowered compared to previous versions, I only go above 80 rarely now to try and drop riders or make an acceleration towards the finish of a stage.
Try to keep below 60 unless you absolutely have to for as long as possible at the start of the stage, this will make sure you keep a full yellow bar.
Otherwise, training your resistance stat is an option as the higher this is the longer your yellow bar lasts.
thanks for the info. I tell you that with that (new for me) info, im riding i n the middle of the peloton at 136 b/M but i dont recover any red (yellow depleted already) bar...
do you experience the same with a top rider in single race or career? I experienced the same when I played with a young climber. As soon as the peloton accelerated, I had troubles with the yellow bar. I wonder how your FLA, ACC, STA and RES stats are
Im glad the forum is so live, i almost feel like in an chat! Well, im just im the 1st season, so the stats are quite low. I ran a couple stages trying to keep beats below 140 but in the end it is impossible. I wonder if it is because of the stats of my rider or im doing st wrong (what can be!!), but as so many riders finish above me (and they arent so good as i can see their stats) i have that bad feeling...
And a new question, what is the green bar for? It never depletes in my races, but i wonder: the lower it is, the slower resistance is recovered? or what?
