Third flat stage in three days: quite short (122km) and no more winds as well.

Swift as yesterday's winner and the clear favorite again. Zabel, Mohs and Howard did impress, too.

It took a few attempts for the break of the day being formed - 8 riders finally go clear then:

Becherovka and Vesuvio as those teams interested in chasing this group, but it will be a close decision today. With about 3km to go, the early break (bar Bostner) holds on to a small gap on the pack!

As is if race wasn't disappointing enough, Contador hits the turf in this hectic final! He will finish with the same time as the peloton though.

But who will win? Hoelgaard now as the strongest in the early break, going past Gillett easily! Van Garderen still in between this group and the nearing sprinters, totally empty now..

Bakelants with a strong leadout for Roelandts, who's now at the front of the bunch - just like Goss, Swift, Mohs and Howard. Too late for those sprinters?

They are moving forward with the way better speed of course and Roelandts, Howard, Swift, Goss, Ventoso and Mohs close up to Deignan and Koretzky now..
