Hi guys,
I just tried to install the new DB, but when it's almost finished, I'm getting a message:
"please insert disk #2 and click OK.
If the files on this disk can be found in a folder other than the one displayed below, enter the correct path or click browse"
The path is where the DB setup is, and if I click Ok, I get this message:
"The file PCMdailyExpansionPackV15fromV10 Part2.daily" could not be located. Please insert the correct disk or select another folder".
Am I missing something? |

Don´t install it. Too many problems, mainly crashes in some stages. |

I believe that has to do with a corrupted download, try downloading it as a .torrent file, should be more stable I guess, and running programs like uTorrent isn't illegal as many actually think.
The DB is fine, most bugs reported are caused by users installing things wrongly.
EDIT: Just noticed 1.5 isn't available as torrent, a re-download should work too

No, that make no sense. How should the message "insert disk 2" be caused by a corrupted download?
Could the problem be caused by differences between steam and DVD version of the game? I got the steam version and installing V 1.5 isn't possible because a always get the popup to insert disk 2. |

As a new installation you shouldn't download V1.5 alone, you'll need V1.0 too as stated in the download description of V1.5. We're working on a solution for the "Disk 2" problem. A new installer will be online before the end of the day.

My game keeps crashing when I try to start a new career (but only as a custom or existing team, not as a pro cyclist). It worked fine with V0.8. Should I go back to V1.0 or V0.8 or is there an easy fix for this problem? |

It's been downvoted, because those gusy actually acknowledge how much work we put into creating this database and correcting the errors that have been reported.
Just plainly saying "Don't install, cause it doesn't work" isn't fair to our work.

Well, to be fair the game is kind of unplayable, at least careers with 1.5 so how is that unfair? I and most others appreciate your work but it's still unplayable at this point and i don't think its disrespecful to tell people avoid installing a 14GB unplayable db. I'm sure when the bugs is fixed people will go back loving this db again. 
I doubt there is others out there who do a better job, at least i haven't seen any.

Well Im using EP 1 + 1.1... I've already downloaded 1.5, is everything ok? can I install it, or I'd better wait until everything is fixed... thanks

With 1.5V? That is what we were talking about. Anyway thanks for working hard guys to find a solution for he crashes, very much appreciated. I just dont think we should close the eyes in fron of reality.

I previously downloaded and was running 0.8. Today, I downloaded and installed 1.5. When I go to the screen to select databases, it gives me the option of original, 0.8 and 0.5. Is 0.5 supposed to be 1.5? I never downloaded 0.5.

ETA:
Nevermind. Somehow 0.5 got installed. I uninstalled it. 0.8 didn't have an uninstall package. I removed that database. For some reason, the 1.5 database did not put a copy in the users folder, so it didn't appear when starting the game. I manually copied it there and now it shows up.
It does seem like 1.5 games crash a lot.
