Was just playing through the TdF for the first time ever, and got to a "hilly" stage apparantly, apart from the fact there are 5 mountains in it, but non-the-less THIS occured ----> [img-r]https://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/Cleavers/miracle.jpg[/img-r]
Shocked or what?!
Contador with +5 form of the day!!!! B)

Yes, you are the only person in the history of the world to which this has happened
Translation: I always get crappy form but have gotten well over a dozen +5s and +4s on flat stages for my GC leaders

When the first manager sacking comes up, im saving it and submitting it to the downloads section ive got some pretty strong riders (Rovny ave 77, Ignatiev ave 77, Belkov ave 76, Contador ave 78, Malacarne 75 cob and so on all from youth and developed this year!)

I once had Valverde at +5 on a mountain stage in the vuelta. Look at the largest margin of victory post in the general section, it was the 7:42 win that I had.
Plus - Pereiro was at 4+ |

I really think that the "form of the day" is something that Cyanide need to work on... It's not normal for a climber to have +5 day on a flat stage and have a -3 day on the next day... It's utterly absurde...

I think its a clever invention, but something that does need work on. a main tour contender can cope with 4 days of hard riding in mountains, and the form should show this, but if you had say an all rounder in a break one day to get the mountains jersey or sumink, the next day they should be suffering. Maybe its just too hard for frenchies to code?

That does happen. His recovery has a big impact. And the less bottles he has at the end of the stage, the bigger the drop on his recovery. And if the energy is all gone...he's really gonna suffer the next day.

Why? seems realistic to me. Some days you feel better, others you don't. We had this debate before the game was released. It ended during the Tour de Suisse when Schleck dominated the first mountain stage and then got dropped early the next day.

It is. +4,+5,-4 and -5 are much less likely to happen since the first patch

I wouldn't call it a 'miracle' either.
In my current Lampre-save, I got 5+ at the Mont Zoncolan, and then two other hilly-stages, last time I participated in the Giro
Also got it at Lombardia.

call this a miracle, or damn good work.
before the final stage of the TdF:
Schleck 1st
Contador 2nd @ 6''
On the stage is one sprint point... you with me yet?
Thats right i took the TdF yellow jersey on the last day of the tour by winning the one intermediate sprint and by placing higher in the final sprint than Schleck

That's even better than me winning the Tour by 2 seconds overall in PCM 06

Schleck didnt go away empty handed either though! He took 2nd in the mountains classification, and still managed to win the young riders jersey by a margin of 0 seconds over Contador...
