I have a big wish, to be able to change to whatever equipment i would like, in my custom career. Like you were able to in 13. However this is not an option in 2015.
When you start the custom career you just get an random offer from a random brand regards to the next years equipment.
Is it possible to change the values within a database editor, so that my custom team, in my ongoing save, will have that EQ i choose??
Well i tryid a bit myself with PCM Fast Editor & Lachi's editor, to go into Dyn_brand_contract and change the giant frame to "Specialized", changed the "Oval Wheel" to "Bontrager Wheel" and the groupset from SRAM to "Shimano" - i then saved the .cdb file, open the game, load up my save, enter a race - and i still have Giant, Oval & Sram EQ..
What am i doing wrong ? Anyóne can tell me the right and correct way to do this?

As far as I understand this system, DYN_brand_contract and DYN_equipment_techno are completely seperate. It seems to me like you have done nothing wrong.
I do have one last silly question: Have you alt-tabbed or actually closed the game?

Yeah it might be two different things, but just changed them both to be sure ..
And i ofc. close down the game completely before i open up the .CDB in an DB-Editor.

equipment pre-race ? What you mean by that and are u talking ingame or db-editor ?

Anyhow, when i start my career, in the first few weeks, the EQ research starts, and you either have the direct partnership with the EQ-brand and can controle what u want to research for or you just get a random eq-brand to drive with and have no influence. In this career, i wasnt part of the research team. But my frame partner is: Giant, wheel: Bontrager and Groupset: Sram.
If that is what you mean?
I didnt PICK it myself, it just got there automaticly.
If i go to pre-race, and go to "equipment" i can ONLY see the Giant, Bontrager & Sram stuff. And i can pick different frame from Giant, or different wheeltypes etc..
And thats the same even after i edited the DB with the Specialized Frame etc.
I just figured out i have might used the wrong .cdb file. I went into Documents/PCM15/WeeklySave/Current save i wanted to edit ..
THIS TIME, i went into Dodcuments/PCM15/Cloud/Katulen/Found the save.
Everything was back to what was showing in ingame, i then changed Giant to Specialized etc, saved the .cdb, loaded up the game and went in to equipment and it was finally changed ! Now it was specialized etc..
I then entered a race to see the new EQ, and it instantly crashed. I then tryid 3 times after to confirm, and it crashed again. So have i done something wrong since it crashes, or my save is just ruined now, because that is how it works ?
EDIT: ANOTHER ADD : Because my saved game seemed fucked, i try go back in to DB-editor and change the values back to the originals (or most of them at least), saved, opened pcm and i can now enter races again etc..
So.. What am i doing wrong :S

You may have made a typo somewhere, or saved one of the new equipment files with the wrong names causing it not to find them, or you may have entered a value.
Also, although I think both are not quite completely connected, you may have forgotten to delete the old equipment after you canged your sponsor.
TL;DR: Make sure there's no typo's anywhere, try adding every piece of equipment one by onbe to see where the problem is at.

Now to the next mission... How to change between the different kind of colored frames from Specialized ?

That's easy, just find out what bike Astana is riding, and add it the same way you did just there.

Yes can be changed in the _s file of the equipment, where you overlay that you want auto colored with white.
This is also the risk of editing an save and not sure if it's even possible. Cause you change variables, which affect other teams using the same equipment etc.

That's easy, just find out what bike Astana is riding, and add it the same way you did just there.

Well i have the same as Astana (frame wise).
Regards to the exact issue, im not sure. It just worked when i only changed the frame, and didnt touch groupset or glass'.

If the value in the db for astana's frame and yours is the same, you should be riding the same bike.
