Junior Rider Posts: 28 Joined: 10-07-2012 PCM$: 200.00	Is it just me or do breakaways never seem to last? i wanna compete in the mountains but don't have any GC guys and whenever i attack i always get caught (have only worked one time and that was when Uran had a +5 day) Anyway to do better in the break?

Under 23 Posts: 51 Joined: 01-07-2013 PCM$: 200.00	It's mostly based on threats. If your riders are any threat to anyone in the peloton, they will most likely try to catch you. I've won several times with Meintjes in hilly stages because I escaped with a group of non hazardous riders. Edited by Owlsome on 25-07-2015 11:53

If you dont have a rider who can compete for the GC but are happy to sacrifice GC placingd, then let him get beat by over 30 mins on an early stage by riding easy then on the later stages go for the breaks on the later stages.
