Hi, i just installed the PCM.daily expansion pack V0.8 (great job as always) following the steps. It works well but i can't see the bikes. I play at maximun graphic details (no anti-aliasing), i don't know if the problem is something about it, or if i should level down something.
Also i noticed that i can't see the BMC team preview (maillot, stars, team leaders) before starting some race.
The problem is that you did not install the pack correctly.
Have you installed:
1. Latest patch
2. PCMdaily Expansion Pack V0.5
3. PCMdaily Expansion Pack V0.8
(Ideally in that sequence, but most importantly V0.8 last)
If you did, you probably didn't install in the correct folder.
You got to manually adjust the install directory to your PCM folder. This could be a different folder if you installed by Steam, installed in a language other than English or if you manually adjusted the PCM 15(itself) installation folder when installing the normal game.
What you should do is look for PCM.exe on your PC.
The database(s) should be installed in the same gamefolder as where PCM.exe is.
Hi @Jesleyh, i installed following that sequency, chosing correctly the path where i installed it. Everything runs ok, names and teams updated, only that problem i mentioned. Nobody had this problem?
When i installed the extension pack V0.5 it was so fast to be more than 4Gb, faster that the V0.8. I downloaded it from torrent, and it seems to be right downloaded. The problem could come from here?
Yes that could be a problem. V0.5 has the bikes, so if you can't see them, it's probably V0.5 which went wrong.
Might need a retry, seems like a bug from the installer.
Yes, it seems that's the problem. Can i manually install the V0.5 if i extract it? i had some experience with those databases, i follow you since lot of years. You really do so interesting work.
