Hello guys,
I have bought my first PCM in this year and I get bad results in the Team Time Trial's.
What to do actually playing Team Time Trials?
I have seen a tip on the right side but I am confused about the rating of 2.22 .
Not great at them either, but my usual tactic would be to set all riders to a same effort, around 85-90 for short TTTs, and closer to 75 for longer ones. Then I tend to put my worst TT guy (or form/freshness) to 4/6 seconds relay, best guy to 16/20.
After that I start the race by unpausing, and monitor the green bars carefully, especially the leader's bar. You should always make sure your leader stays with the team, and that you finish with 5 guys, adjusting the efforts mid race works pretty okay, and in general I'd say TTTs aren't impossible anymore as they were in previous PCMs

I don't think I've played TTTs since PCM 2009, so a lot may have changed, but for an optimal result a lot of micromanagement was needed and maybe having to restart the stage once or twice. There isn't one size fits all. It depends, do you just want the best possible result in the TTT or are there riders you don't want to drop, don't want them to lose time in the GC, then your tactics might change.
Have those riders (good/great climbers, terrible at TT) just follow the others and set a pace they can follow to the end, even if your best TT guys could go even faster. On the other hand, the longer the TT, the more likely everybody should get to pull at least a bit. But definitely have the better TT guys pull for longer, like fjhoekie explains.
Got to mention that TTTs are now quite playable, while they weren't in PCM 14(was incredibly easy to get results in long TTTs and impossible to get results in short TTTs in 14)
