Is it possible to edit in a new team and place them in the World Tour, with their own shirts and selecting players from other teams?

If so, do i need a 3rd party application or is this done in game?

Anything i should be aware of by doing this as well?

Yeah, just go into Custom mode when selecting a team, if you get a strong enough team it will enable you to make a WT team
