What are your experiences using Quick sim mode in PCM15? I got lots of weird results in PCM14 and only used it if I had no interest in the race whatsoever. In previous games (2012-2013) I'd use it to skip a flat stage in a GT where I had a GT contender but no sprinter - I could rely on it to do a fair job, but I couldn't trust it in PCM14.
I was bored and I simmed an entire TdF 2015 using the default database to see how it worked out. People use Football Manager to sim seasons and the results are pretty realistic - it would be interesting to see how PCM compared to real life. Here's what it got:
Kwiatkowski took the Yellow jersey from the opening TT up to the mountains where the climbers took control. Rodriguez took yellow and Froome had a bad stage leaving Porte as Sky's best placed rider. Porte took yellow and held it for several stages before he and Quintana had "Withdrawn" on the same stage (crash?). Contador took the jersey and held it until the end.
Valverde won a couple of stages but the big winners were Rodriguez and Contador with 5 stage wins each!!!
Strange results - Rodriguez and Contador 5 stages each? Kwiatkowski opening TT, best of all the Champs Elysee stage - won by Pavel Brutt after he and Voeckler had broken away by 43 secs! EDIT: Another strange result - Porte being in yellow and not being made to wait for Froome!
