I ignore frequent suggestions that I upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 because I have a long career on PCM 12 that I don't really want to abandon.
How confident can I be that the 8.1 compatibility issue problem is absent from Windows 10?
I believe that I need to have enable automatic updates to receive the invitation to update for free to Windows 10. Am I right in thinking that this means that 8.1 will be imposed on me, and I will be deprived of use of the game until Windows 10 installs itself, and that this might be up to a year?
How are other resistors of 8.1 handling this?

ok, i was on 8.1 64-bit with graphics being AMD 8870m HD
and i updated today to windows 10 while listening to the sober tones of rob hatch apologising for no images on the screen, after i upgrading to windows 10 and while the graphics on the game did not work while i could get the screens up for the manager page, i could empathise with him as the intro graphics didn't work then when i went to play the game, i had the same problem so i could empathise with rob. when i played the game, the loading screen would crash
after hours and hours of looking at it and thinking this isn't working and **** **** *** ****
i misspelt windows10 and amd graphics in the google search and i came to a page reccomending amd updater and running this, i found
- intro graphic does not work
however when i went to play a stage, it did work. i've done a test on a short tour de normandie stage and it worked for me, going to the results screen and all
the big thing for me is that i had to update the graphics controller to one compatible with windows 10, crap saying it like that, it was more simple than i makde out
